About 263tickets

Built in Africa, made for the world

263tickets is a modern platform for discovering live events and selling tickets. We started by solving the real problems of live events in Africa — and built for a global stage from day one: flexible payments in the currency you choose, tickets delivered the way that suits you, and the security to make every ticket one you can trust.

Our story

We started with a simple conviction: buying a ticket shouldn't depend on where you live or which bank you use. The checkout built for somewhere else never fit our market — so we built one that flexes to the buyer, not the other way around. Pay in the currency you hold, with the method you already use, and get your ticket on whatever channel reaches you.

We solved for African audiences first because that's where the problems were sharpest and the stakes highest — but we architected for everywhere from the start. What works for a fan in Harare works for one in Lagos, London, or Los Angeles.

And we built it at a moment when the stages had gone quiet. While the lights were down, we rebuilt ticketing from the ground up — not more of the same, but something better: flexible by default, secure by design, and ready to grow.

Why we built it

For too long the magic of live events has been dimmed by the same problems — counterfeit tickets at the gate, resale prices fans can't afford, and access no one can really verify. We didn't want to patch that system. We wanted to replace it.

Every 263tickets ticket carries a single, verifiable identity: a secure QR validated in real time at the door, and impossible to clone or spend twice. If a ticket isn't genuine, it doesn't get in. That's the whole point — the excitement should start the moment you secure your seat, not end in a dispute at the entrance.

What we believe

We operate with a builder's mindset and a fan's heart. A few things we don't compromise on:

Trust is the headline act

Security isn't a feature we sell — it's the floor everything else stands on. Every ticket is a guaranteed pass, not a gamble at the gate.

A builder's mind, a fan's heart

We measure success in moments, not transactions — the roar of the crowd, the night you'll remember. We handle the complexity so you can be present for the joy of it.

Fair by default

Transparent pricing, no runaway resale, and access built for the people who come for the art — not the ones trying to game the queue.

Where we operate

We're live across Zimbabwe and the wider SADC region today, and expanding across Africa — on a platform designed to cross borders. Payments already work in multiple currencies, including USD, with card and international rails such as Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, and Stripe on our roadmap as we grow.

Every order settles in the currency it was paid in, and every cent is accounted for. The goal is simple: an organiser anywhere can sell to an audience anywhere.
